Abstract

If there is an always burning topic, by definition without date of caducity, this is the topic of Evolution. Besides this is an aim that claims a multi-disciplinar approach. Like in a gigant fire there are red-hot coals of almost all the scientific areas burning inside it. The 150th anniversary of the publication of the On the Origin of the Species (1859) by Charles R. Darwin -a discreet self-made man, peaceful, honest and fervient searcher-, give us the chance to overview the landscape of a discussion, that was and is still strongly ideological but that opened -and get on opening- several fronts, some of them are suggested by the title of this article.
