The Trinity is the Christian Mystery par excellence. In order to adequately understand Christian Spirituality, it is imperative to study the Mystery Trinity. At the same time, it is necessary to make this Mystery as the fundamental hermeneutical key for such a venture. The present study intends to propose the Trinity as the ground for the necessarily sacramentological nature of Christian Spirituality, whose finality consists in the communion of man with the Triune God. God’s Trinitarian Life is a communion, which is the basis of this process and finality. The end-result is a hermeneutical model which consists of a novel treatment of Christian mysticism and mystagogy, within the context of spirituality. At the same time, the life of communion of God in the Trinity is reinterpreted in mystagogical terms. Thus, the present study opens a new avenue for studying the Mystery of God One and Three from the perspective of Christian Spirituality.
