In Part One of this article we have dealt with how the issues of Ecclesiam Suam appeared since the beginning of the life of Pope Montini, the result of his contemplation and reflections, to form the lines of force of his priestly and episcopal ministry. In Part Two we discussed how this encyclical letter inspires the pastoral praxis of the beginning of his pontificate. We have focused on it but also in their “pericouncil” speeches and the use made of it by the texts of Vatican II. Now, in Part Three, we focus our attention in searching how the presence of Ecclesiam Suam persists in the pastoral practice of Paul VI after the Council in some of the major reforms that the church has undertaken.
