Some lines of current reflection are warning that democratic societies are sustained by exemplary and responsible citizens for their actions, beyond the mere demand of their rights and the fulfilment of their duties. The extension and universalization of democratic commitments requires the Christians of the 21st-century –members of a Church on the way out to humanity– a profound experience of their faith as citizens who present the Kingdom of God through their testimony that becomes an enabling praxis of their faith. The subjects of this exemplarity find some privileged fields of action, work for justice and dialogue, which require them a plus of rationalization and an attitude of conversion.
