Together with Vatican II, the Pope recalls that holiness is for everyone: the great saints, the middle classes of salvation and the feminine genius of holiness, against the Gnosticism and Pelagianism or false intellectualism and voluntarism. The way is the Beatitudes, portrait of Christ, identity of the Christian and great protocol of the final judgment (Mt 25:35-46).Holiness today is: Trust and patience, joy of the Spirit, boldness and fervor, prayer, Christian combat, community, discernment: listening to God, to others and to the reality. The logic of the gift and the cross, and “give it all” to Mary who “lived the Beatitudes as nobody else”.
