El Catecismo "Testigos del Señor"

Abstract

With some delay since its publication, for the catechism is already in its third edition, this article makes a close reading to detect its weaknesses as it exposes the faith to the people of God. In such a serious matter, the Spanish bishops should have been more careful, more exquisite in the draft and formulation of the text, more discerning in the choice of redactors and more demanding in its approval. If it were a couple of mistakes, some inaccuracies, insignificant errors, there would not be material enough for an article. Unfortunately this is not the case, and the Spanish bishops have offered the people of God a catechism clearly much in need of improvement.
