The form to convoke the children to catechesis was in the XVI century a folk song which in some different verses are repeated in the way to the church. This song begins with the words: “Amados hermanos” (Loved brothers), and it was repeated with variations when the Christian teaching was printed in “cartillas” (short treatises) and catechisms. Here it is possible to know the booklets where this song was published, though now its memory has disappeared.
