El problema del mal en la soteriología de Juan Luis Ruiz de la Peña

Analyzing the mystery of evil in the thought of Ruiz de la Peña has a double purpose. In the first place, because life itself teaches us that evil becomes more and more irrational, and the more we want to give it a meaning, the more incomprehensible it becomes. Second, because we realize that the reflection and mission of current Fundamental Theology constantly invites us to be “always ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you for the reason of our hope” (1 Peter 3:15). And facing the mystery of evil, we also must give a reason for our hope. We need to show others that we are not alone in facing the suffering and pain caused by
evil. Further, we must be aware that evil cannot be ignored at any time.
