This research presents the 1925 Vatican Mission Exposition, and specially the presence of the Augustinian Order in several sections –history of the missions, life of martyrs and holy missionaries, ethnography, bibliography of the missions, statistics– and specially the works of art and ethnology from China and the Peruvian Amazon. After this study the creation of the Vatican Ethnological Museum, and the contribution of the Augustinians with the works of art donated, the evolution of the institution, now denominated Anima Mundi Museum. Finally, it’s realized an intent to find the actual situation of the works of art donated by the Augustinians.The text is completed with 84 photos in black and white and in colour.
