Several catechisms used in the Philippines by Augustinians, and a Dominican integrated in this article.They have the common feature that they all are written in several languages in which they missioned. The oldest, Francisco Coronel, was the catechism in pangasinan, that manuscript is preserved, but printed, has seen the light on many occasions. The other catechisms examined are, in all cases, translations of the Spanish catechism of Santiago José García Mazo, that brought together religious criteria of the second half of the nineteenth century, and several religious were responsible for making available to the Philippines people in different languages. In all cases, the logical differences of time, the effort to provide the best possible Christian faith is perceived.
