Abstract

Autobiographical writing by Santos Sabugal García (1937-2024), born in Los Barrios de Gordón (León) and died in Civitavecchia (Italy), in which he narrates the most important events of his life. Birth, education, Augustinian religious, studies at the Augustinian Seminary of Calahorra (La Rioja), the Pontifical Biblical Institute (Rome), and the University of Basel (Switzerland). Doctor in Sacred Scripture from the Pontifical Biblical Institute (1972), whose doctoral research was directed by the Jesuit Ignace de La Potterie; professor of Bible at the Institutum Patristicum ‘Augustinianum’ (Rome) and at the Pontifical Athenaeum Regina Apostolorum (Rome); apostolic work (catechist and evangelizer); author of numerous articles and 16 books, including: Christós.
