Una faceta olvidada de santo Tomás de Villanueva en su etapa de profesor complutense

Abstract

In this article we present the recently founded University of Alcalá, its competition with those of Salamanca and Valladolid, its academic and financial institutional framework. To review the student and teacher curriculum of Santo Tomás de Villanueva and, above all, to make known than an unknown fact by Tomasina historiography: the publication of a manual for his students in the first year of Arts.
