Abstract

The Books of Professions are a valuable source of information about the family life and first steps of the Augustinian professed. In them, we find the names of their parents, as well as those of the priors and novice masters who regularly preside over and sign the profession certificate. In this Book of the Convent of San Agustín de Valencia, the notarial testamentary deed of the professed and their conventual affiliation are added on the back of the page.
